Through two starts, Lance Lynn has an ugly 5.23 ERA, but he's hardly this poor a pitcher.

Lynn missed all of 2016 recovering from Tommy John surgery, so it's unclear if and when he will regain his past form, but he's historically had very strong numbers against right-handed hitters.

His career strikeout rate versus righties is an elite 26.6%, along with a solid 27.9% hard-hit rate. He's only faced 15 righties in 2017, but for what it's worth he hasn't missed a beat yet, striking out 26.7%.

As a result, until we get a larger sample size of Lynn's starts, it's best not to mess with righty batters against him. Cross the pricey Andrew McCutchen off your list.
