I'm usually pretty reluctant to target hitters that bat towards the bottom of the order, especially on a big slate like Friday's, but I'm happy to make an exception for James McCann.
McCann has opened the season with a huge 48.1% hard-hit rate and a 44.4% fly-ball rate, while his numbers against left-handed pitching in 2016 were similarly impressive -- with 47.5% hard-hit and 47.4% fly-ball rates.
The Detroit Tigers are in a great spot against Minnesota Twins southpaw Hector Santiago -- and with Santiago's 38.9% hard-hit rate allowed to right-handed hitters in 2016, McCann's a serious threat to light him up.
