Fantasy Baseball: 5 Pitchers To Stream For Week 5
Alex Cobb toes the rubber against the free-swinging Marlins before setting his sights on the lowly Blue Jays. Which other widely-available starters should be on your radar for Week 5?

Once-promising Tampa Bay Rays hurler Alex Cobb has seen perpetual injury woes curtail his ascent to stardom, both in the real-life game and in fantasy. Yet the righty remains an intriguing fantasy option given the right matchups, as should bear out during this plum two-start week in Week 5.

The Marlins are unlikely to put Cobb's notably decreased walk rate to the test on Tuesday, as Miami ranks dead last in the majors in terms of free-pass percentage and seventh-highest in out-of-zone swing rates.

And it's not as if this free-swinging approach is yielding major power results, with the Marlins decidedly below average in terms of hard contact and isolated slugging -- and that's with Giancarlo Stanton in there to boost the stats. If Cobb can work around the Marlins' star masher, he should have no problem posting strong numbers during this trip to the spacious Marlins Park.

Meanwhile, a weekend home start against the rapidly collapsing Blue Jays (who rival the Royals in their utter lack of offensive productivity) only serves to sweeten the deal.
