Fantasy Baseball: 5 Pitchers To Stream For Week 5
Alex Cobb toes the rubber against the free-swinging Marlins before setting his sights on the lowly Blue Jays. Which other widely-available starters should be on your radar for Week 5?

Trevor Bauer, Cleveland Indians

Starts: May 1st at Detroit Tigers, May 6th at Kansas City Royals

ESPN ownership: 21 percent

Those who took the plunge for Trevor Bauer's promising matchup against the Houston Astros for Week 4 came away with eight strikeouts, even if Bauer's trouble with the longball did little to help them in ERA. Bauer should be a hold for Week 5, with his double-dip slated against a depleted Tigers offense and the lowly Royals.

The Tigers have struggled a bit with their power production in the week since they lost stalwart slugging stud Miguel Cabrera to injury -- and lucky for Bauer, he will beat Miggy's scheduled return to the order by one day. Look for the Tigers to continue their recent struggles against the cutter, a pitch that, for Bauer, has seen a major spike in swinging-strike rate and dip in contact rate, despite some bad results overall.

Meanwhile, the trip to Kansas City remains a streamer's delight, with the once-mighty Royals holding up the rear in just about all offensive metrics (three separate links) on the young season. These two plus matchups should give Bauer a strong opportunity to inch his results a little closer to his xFIP of 2.19, which trails his actual ERA by more than three runs.
