The wind shouldn't be a factor in Wrigley like it was last night when the opposing Philadelphia Phillies scored 10 runs, but it's difficult to recommend Jon Lester as the second-most expensive pitcher on the board.

He has a solid enough 3.82 SIERA and 28.1% hard-hit rate this season, but the strikeouts are down at just 20.8%. An 8.4% swinging-strike rate is also troubling, and indicates the lack of punchouts are justified.

Lester has been great for too long to be overly concerned yet, but you want a little more confidence when you're dropping this much dough. He should be able to have a good game against the Phillies, but it's difficult to see him matching Sale's upside for a little more salary.
