FanDuel Price: $2,800
Why He Will Go Overlooked:
Freddie Freeman's price continues to skyrocket, and it's not without good reason. His numbers against right-handed pitching are absurd -- so far in 2017, he's posted a .537 wOBA and 1.339 OPS. He's likely to continue to see decent ownership tonight against Jacob deGrom, even with deGrom being a very good hurler.
John Jaso is a much cheaper option, and he's likely to be underowned. Jaso's logged a paltry .257 wOBA over 55 plate appearances so far this season.
Why You Should Use Him:
Jaso makes for a strong play due to his matchup with Cincinnati Reds starter Rookie Davis, who has definitely pitched like a rookie this year.
Davis has issued a pile of walks, logging a 13.2% walk rate along with a 5.35 SIERA. In addition, lefties have posed a real problem for Davis as he's allowed a .553 wOBA (in a small sample size) to left-handed hitters.
Combine that with a park boost from Great American Ballpark (fourth in home run factor over the last three seasons), and Jaso makes for a sneaky play.
