FanDuel Price: $2,300
Why He Will Go Overlooked:
Not only will the Boston-Baltimore see a pile of ownership, but Ender Inciarte is likely to be highly owned. His price has risen all the way up to $3,800, largely due to a streak of four consecutive games of double-digit FanDuel points, which was snapped on Wednesday night.
While he's put up some big efforts lately, Ben Gamel of the Seattle Mariners continues to be a cheap option that many owners aren't taking advantage of. Perhaps his career 89 plate appearances at the major league level are scaring people away, but he should not be ignored on this slate.
Why You Should Use Him:
Despite continuing to absolutely rake out of the two-hole in the Mariners lineup, Gamel continues to be underpriced.
Even in an extremely small sample size of 44 plate appearances, Gamel has posted a healthy .381 wOBA this season, including a 11.5% walk rate.
Alex Meyer of the Los Angeles Angels is expected to start on the mound, and his first start in the majors didn't go well -- he went just 3.2 innings while walking 4 and striking out 3, which has led to a 6.32 SIERA.
At a very cheap price and hitting in front of stars Robinson Cano and Nelson Cruz, Gamel could be in line for a huge evening.
