FanDuel Price: $2,300
Why He Will Go Overlooked:
The Boston Red Sox and Baltimore Orioles have an enormous 10.0 over/under to lead the slate, and Manny Machado is likely to be heavily owned as a result of that large number.
A cheap option that should see very low ownership is T.J. Rivera. He's been playing first base with Lucas Duda on the disabled list and just has 155 career MLB plate appearances to his name.
Why You Should Use Him:
Listed primarily as a third baseman, River has been solid since getting called up to plug a hole on the opposite corner of the infield -- in his past two games he's posted efforts of 9.0 and 21.5 FanDuel points.
He will get to matchup with Jaime Garcia, who's posted an uninspiring 5.35 SIERA so far in 2017. Rivera and other Mets righties could be in for a big night, as hitters on that side of the plate own a .343 wOBA against Garcia this year.
At a cheap price point and an opportunity to play, Rivera makes for a quality option -- as long as the weather holds up -- while being able to load up at other positions.
