5 Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for 5/8/17
Justin Smoak has been crushing the ball recently and he has big upside against Trevor Bauer and the Indians. Who else should you target for big-time daily fantasy baseball value on Monday?

Jed Lowrie, 2B, Oakland Athletics

FanDuel Price: $2,300

Jed Lowrie has been terrific against right-handed pitching this season, posting a .370 wOBA with a 40.3% hard-hit rate, 46.5% fly-ball rate and a 12.5% soft-hit rate.

He draws a matchup on Monday against a right-handed hurler in Ricky Nolasco who has a 4.15 SIERA on the season, putting him on pace for a SIERA above 4.00 for the fifth time in six seasons. Nolasco has allowed left-handed hitters a .341 wOBA on a 33.9% hard-hit rate in 2017, and Lowrie is pretty heavily underpriced in this spot.
