4 Under-the-Radar Daily Fantasy Baseball Plays for 5/8/17
Overshadowed by many strong teammates in a prolific offense, Jayson Werth continues to see low ownership. Who else could fly under the radar?

Aaron Hicks, OF, New York Yankees

FanDuel Price: $3,200

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

The New York Yankees are just assaulting baseballs lately, thanks to young stud Aaron Judge and veteran Brett Gardner. In the last seven days, the Yankees' team wOBA of .364 is fourth-best in baseball.

Quietly putting up strong numbers at a cheaper price point is Aaron Hicks, and he is certainly deserving of some attention.

Why You Should Use Him:

While those first two Yankee outfielders have certainly been fantastic performers, Hicks has been really good, too.

In his first 86 plate appearances, Hicks has bopped six homers while also swiping five bags, and a .468 wOBA. Playing home games in Yankee Stadium, which ranks first in home run factor over the last three seasons, doesn't hurt.

Hicks and company will take aim at Rookie Davis, who has really struggled this season. He currently owns a 5.69 SIERA and lefties have logged a .472 wOBA against him.

All of this adds up to a potentially explosive day at a relatively cheap price point.
