FanDuel Price: $2,700
Why He Will Go Overlooked:
A healthy breeze at Wrigley Field gave way to a healthy over/under of 12 runs on Tuesday -- which was surpassed in a 9-5 Chicago Cubs win. Kyle Schwarber, Anthony Rizzo, and Ian Happ all homered, and they will surely see high ownership again with a projected 22 mile-per-hour wind blowing out to left field.
Staying in that same game, an overshadowed option is backstop Willson Contreras -- his .609 OPS is far below his typical standards and should lead to low ownership.
Why You Should Use Him:
Contreras has endured a rough start, but has shown signs of life recently. In two of his last three starts, he's posted 16-plus FanDuel points, including a two-homer effort over the weekend.
He also gets the benefit of a great matchup in facing Scott Feldman, who's put up a 4.63 SIERA so far this year.
Same-sided bats have given Feldman some particular grief -- in 110 total batters faced, righties have smacked him around to a .336 wOBA and 30.3% hard-hit rate.
The over-under is certain to be high yet again, and Contreras provides a contrarian option among the Cubs in a strong matchup.
