He has a higher hard-hit rate and wOBA against right-handed pitching than against southpaws over his career, and that makes his matchup tonight against Seattle Mariners righty Sam Gaviglio a promising one.

The rookie Gaviglio will be making his first big league start tonight, and he only managed a 4.25 xFIP through five starts in Triple-A this year, raising some real question marks around his ability to hold his own in the majors.
