FanDuel Price: $3,800
Starlin Castro is having quite a 2017 so far, as his .385 wOBA and .182 isolated power would be career-highs if the season ended today.
Still, much of his success has been largely BABIP-driven, with an unsustainable .389 BABIP, and his hard-hit rate isn't anything special at 30.4%. He's now priced the same as Jose Altuve, which is far too high.
The New York Yankees have a respectable 4.50 implied team total, and lit up Jason Vargas for six runs in his last start. That being said, although Vargas has slowed down since his hot start in April, he's no slouch with a 3.83 SIERA and 22.5% strikeout rate.
Particularly with Ian Happ available at just $3,300 in windy Wrigley, it's easy to pass on Castro at this bloated salary.
