Jacob deGrom has had a tremendous start to the season, and he's a pretty easy pick as the day's top arm.

He had a bit of a down year in 2016, but has bounced back in a big way with a 3.21 skill-interactive ERA (SIERA) while his velocity is up across the board. He's also on pace for career highs in both strikeout rate (32.1%) and swinging-strike rate (15.2%).

He brings that into a dreamy matchup against the San Diego Padres, who rank 26th with an 83 wRC+ and a 24.4% strikeout rate against righties -- the second highest in the majors.

The New York Mets are the day's second-biggest favorites (-201 money line) while the Padres' 3.15 implied total is the lowest mark of the day. DeGrom's floor and upside are both elite tonight.
