5 Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for 5/30/17
Matt Carpenter owns a 44.7% hard-hit rate against righties this season, and his matchup tonight with Kenta Maeda isn't an especially worrying one. Who else should you target for big-time fantasy value on Tuesday?

Luis Valbuena, 1B, Los Angeles Angels

FanDuel Price: $2,200

Luis Valbuena is another guy who has posted disappointing numbers this season, but coming off of a 2016 campaign that saw him tag right-handed pitchers for a 39.7% hard-hit rate, he's still an interesting fantasy option when he's priced this close to minimum-salary, especially in a great matchup against Bartolo Colon and the Atlanta Braves.

Colon's best years are obviously well behind him at this point, and his 4.80 wOBA in 2017 is on pace to be the worst mark of his 15-year career. Left-handed sticks are giving him an especially tough time, and he's allowing a 37.1% hard-hit rate and 46.0% fly-ball rate with a 5.14 xFIP against lefties, making this a prime spot for Valbuena to bounce back a bit.
