Why He Will Go Overlooked:
The Toronto Blue Jays seem intent on making up for lost time, and they are set for a big evening with the largest implied team total on the slate of 4.93 runs. Kevin Pillar and Jose Bautista are surely to see a ton of ownership tonight.
Stuck in a crowded outfield situation, Aaron Hicks hasn't seen a ton of playing time recently. But with an injury to Jacoby Ellsbury, Hicks has seen some more playing time as of late, but continues to be overshadowed by big bats in the lineup such as Aaron Judge and Brett Gardner.
Why You Should Use Him:
Hicks is in the midst of an impressive season, and perhaps this Ellsbury injury will open the door for continued playing time.
So far this season, Hicks has walked more than he has struck out (18.2% to 16.9%, respectively), and his .412 wOBA over 154 plate appearances is certainly nothing to scoff at.
Hicks will face Marco Estrada, who's been really strong this season with a 3.36 SIERA, but Estrada has been bit by left-handed hitters. Estrada's allowed 1.39 home runs per nine innings pitched this year to lefties.
Shifting tonight's contest to the Rogers Centre will certainly give Hicks a boost -- over the last three seasons, the Blue Jays home park ranks third in home run factor.
