FanDuel Price: $2,700
Why He Will Go Overlooked:
There's not likely to be a shortage of runs in the Boston Red Sox and Baltimore Orioles tilt this evening, and currently it's sporting an over/under of 9.0 runs on the day. Xander Bogaerts and the Red Sox implied team total of 4.62 runs should see heavy ownership.
Facing off against Arizona Diamondbacks ace Zack Greinke, JT Riddle is sure to be low-owned, as Greinke's 2.99 SIERA is one of the best in baseball.
Why You Should Use Him:
Riddle certainly has his work cut out for him this evening, as Greinke has been a beast this season. Greinke has whiffed 29.6% of batters so far in 2017.
But if Greinke has a bit of a flaw, it's been the home run ball, as he's allowed 1.37 home runs per nine innings pitched.
A closer look at Greinke's splits reveals that left-handed batters have enjoyed a small measure of success. So far in 2017, lefties have logged a 33.7% hard-hit rate and 42.0% fly-ball rate.
Riddle, meanwhile, has provided a nice floor in the absence of the injured Adeiny Hechavarria. In his last five games, he's recorded at least 6.0-plus FanDuel points in all five, with double-digit fantasy efforts in two of those five.
In a tough spot with a chance for scoring upside, Riddle is sure to be a sneaky contrarian play.
