5 Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for 6/5/17
Matt Adams owns a 42.5% hard-hit rate in 2017 and offers plenty of upside tonight against Phillies' righty Nick Pivetta. Who else should you target for big-time fantasy value on Monday?

Odubel Herrera, OF, Philadelphia Phillies

FanDuel Price: $2,500

Like Moss, Odubel Herrera is a guy who's been dealing with some bad luck in 2017. He's on pace for a career-best 31.1% hard-hit rate this year, but his .293 BABIP is well below his career-average of .355 (which comes over a sizable sample of 1407 plate appearances).

He also draws an excellent matchup tonight, as the Phillies have Monday's third-highest implied total (4.87) against Atlanta righty Bartolo Colon, whose start to 2017 has been about what you'd expect from a 44-year-old who's posted a SIERA better than 4.00 in only one of his last five seasons. Colon is on pace for a career-worst 4.80 SIERA and the second-lowest strikeout rate (14.0%) of his career, while also getting tagged for the third-highest hard-hit rate (33.2%) of his long baseball life.
