5 Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for 6/5/17
Matt Adams owns a 42.5% hard-hit rate in 2017 and offers plenty of upside tonight against Phillies' righty Nick Pivetta. Who else should you target for big-time fantasy value on Monday?

Jed Lowrie, 2B, Oakland Athletics

FanDuel Price: $2,600

A matchup with a southpaw (the Toronto Blue Jays' J.A. Happ) isn't perfect for Jed Lowrie, who's been absolutely mashing against righties in 2017, but it's not like he's not making good contact against left-handers, and a jump in production wouldn't come as any surprise after opening the year with a 35.3% hard-hit rate, 11.8% soft-hit rate and 38.2% fly-ball rate through 48 plate appearances.

Lowrie has also been more productive against southpaws than right-handed hurlers over his career, and with the way he's destroyed righties in 2017 (.391 wOBA, 37.0% hard-hit rate, 12.3% soft-hit rate, 44.5% fly-ball rate), there's lots of room for optimism, especially while his price-tag continues to stay nice and low on FanDuel.
