Jacob deGrom is coming off a pair of ugly starts, and while he doesn't really come close to Strasburg as a cash-game option, he's still an option in tournaments, where you'll also be likely getting him at reduced ownership.

Even with 15 earned runs given up in his last two games, deGrom's peripheral numbers have been strong, based off a 3.52 SIERA, 29.9% strikeout rate, and a 14.7% swinging-strike rate that's on track to be a career best. That strikeout rate ranks sixth among qualifying pitchers, while the swinging-strike rate ranks third.

His matchup is a pretty good one, as well -- the Chicago Cubs have posted only an 87 wRC+ against right-handed arms while also striking out at an above-average rate (22.3%). This leaves deGrom with no shortage of upside.
