It's tough to find value at pitcher today, and even though John Lackey has a solid 23.3% strikeout rate and 11.2% swinging-strike rate, he simply doesn't have the same upside as Strasburg, Darvish or deGrom to consider putting in the mix.

Lackey does have a flukey 61-point game, which was in Colorado of all places, but other than that he hasn't broken 40 points since April 12th.

The New York Mets are quietly putting up a solid 104 wRC+ and 35.5% hard-hit rate against righties, while only striking out 19.2% of the time.

Add in some wind and high temperatures at Citi Field, and there's just not a lot of reason to get excited about Lackey tonight.
