FanDuel Price: $7,200
Why He Will Go Overlooked:
The Monday slate will mostly revolve around four pitchers. Do you pay up for the high-priced aces like Clayton Kershaw and Corey Kluber -- which will set you back more than $10,000 -- or do you save a bit with two other high profile arms in Johnny Cueto and Jon Lester?
Even with a very healthy strikeout rate, Brad Peacock probably won't be heavily owned. In his five starts, he's only reached 6.0 innings once.
Why You Should Use Him:
Some of the appeal with Peacock is that insane swinging-strike rate -- after generating whiffs on 18.8% of pitches in his most recent start, his season-long number currently stands at 13.6%, which is on pace to easily be a new career high.
Peacock faces an Oakland Athletics team that loves to swing and miss, too. Over the last 30 days, the Athletics have struck out 26.5% of the time.
If you can stomach the risk, those strikeouts could make Peacock for a very appealing play.
