FanDuel Price: $8,400
Why He Will Go Overlooked:
There are a lot of good pitching options today, which makes it tough to navigate. Jacob deGrom is one high-priced option that certainly deserves a lot of attention -- in his last 29 innings pitched, he's fired a 3.10 ERA while allowing a .208 opponent batting average and has gone at least eight innings in each of his last three starts.
A mid-range option that's not as well known is rookie Jacob Faria of the Tampa Bay Rays, who has just 25 2/3 innings pitched in his big league career.
Why You Should Use Him:
Despite being far less seasoned than deGrom and others, Faria has shown up very well in his brief career.
He's won three of his first four starts and has recorded a quality start in each. He's also recorded a 28.2% strikeout rate to go with a 4.9% walk rate during that time.
The Baltimore Orioles can do some damage on offense, but they also strikeout a lot -- their 23.9% strikeout rate is sixth highest in the majors.
