Why He Will Go Overlooked:
Anthony Rizzo is about as consistent as it gets. He's got six homers in each month this season, and he may threaten to hang a crooked number tonight against Scott Feldman. Add in the fact that Cincinnati's home park ranks fourth in home run factor over the last three seasons, and he's sure to be a popular option at first base.
Recently returning from oblique and hand injuries, Marwin Gonzalez -- who has just two extra-base hits since June 8th -- will probably fly under the radar.
Why You Should Use Him:
Even though June has been a bit of a tough for Gonzalez, he's in a great spot this evening. A lot of it has to do with his opponent, Michael Pineda.
Pineda has been very strong this season, but when he has struggled, it's been away from Yankee Stadium. Pineda's allowed a .385 wOBA on the road, and against lefties, that number jumps up to .443, which includes a .614 slugging percentage allowed.
As a switch-hitter, Gonzalez has been far stronger as a lefty, posting a 1.010 OPS and .270 ISO, compared to marks of .864 and .229, respectively, as a righty.
