FanDuel Price: $3,700
With Trea Turner going down with a broken wrist yesterday, it's possible that Michael Taylor will become the new Nats' leadoff man.
But as tempting as it will be to plug the red-hot Taylor in your lineup (.381 wOBA in June), his salary is getting awfully expensive these days -- he getting priced near established stars in good spots like Josh Donaldson, J.D. Martinez and Francisco Lindor. A couple good months doesn't put Taylor at that level just yet.
Keep in mind that this is also still a player who struggles with punchouts, striking out 32.2% of the time.
Furthermore, Taylor gets at best a neutral matchup against ground-ball machine, Mike Leake. It's always alluring to jump on the next hot player, but you might want to wait for a price reduction before hopping back on the Taylor bandwagon.
