5 Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for 7/17/17
Jesus Aguilar has a 38.5% hard-hit rate against right-handed pitching this season, and he draws a plus matchup tonight against Chad Kuhl. Who else should you target for big-time fantasy value?

Joey Gallo, 1B, Texas Rangers

FanDuel Price: $2,500

Joey Gallo certainly doesn't offer any sort of floor or consistency as he owns a huge 38.6% strikeout rate with a .192 batting average this season, but he makes up for that with a ton of fantasy upside. He has a 44.5% hard-hit rate and 60.6% fly-ball rate this season (bringing his career averages to 44.8% and 54.6%, respectively), and Gallo boasts a .312 ISO.

Tonight's matchup leaves him with plenty of upside, as well, as Baltimore Orioles righty Chris Tillman has an ugly 5.55 SIERA through 11 starts this year (having only posted a SIERA better than 4.24 once in nine major league seasons). Tillman is allowing a career-high 35.9% hard-hit rate, so the Texas Rangers are a team to target tonight.
