FanDuel Price: $2,700
Why He Will Go Overlooked:
Games involving Coors Field are sure to be chalky plays, and tonight should be no different with struggling arms Luis Perdomo and German Marquez toeing the rubber. With a combined implied team total of 11.0 runs, outfielders on both sides should be in a lot of lineups.
Returning recently from the minors after poor play, Kyle Schwarber and his .180 batting average still aren't likely to see heavy investment.
Why You Should Use Him:
While his return has been brief, Schwarber may be showing signs of turning things around. He's already got five extra-base hits, including two a pair homers, since returning to the Windy City.
But the reason to be bullish on Schwarber is less about his performance and more about this matchup. Julio Teheran has struggled in 18 starts this season, posting a 5.13 SIERA. Some of Teheran's worst work has been at home against left-handed batters. For the season, they've recorded a .430 wOBA, 37.8% hard-hit rate, and 41.8% fly-ball rate off Teheran in the Braves new home.
Showing some improvement and in a fantastic matchup, Schwarber could be poised for a big night.
