Why He Will Go Overlooked:
When it goes bad for Dinelson Lamet, it goes really bad, and a start in Coors Field may not be the best for his peripherals. Since Lamet allowed six earned runs over four innings pitched last time out, Nolan Arenado and friends are primed for a big evening and should see sky-high ownership rates.
With one of the lowest implied team totals of the day at 4.43 runs, Oakland Athletics don't seem like an obvious choice. But Matt Chapman and his fellow teammates could be in for a big evening.
Why You Should Use Him:
Despite that low implied team total, there's plenty of reasons to be bullish about Chapman and crew.
Blake Snell of the Tampa Bay Rays takes the bump, and he's had a rough year. He's posted a 5.56 SIERA over 56.0 innings pitched and righties have been particularly tough. Snell's allowed a .353 wOBA to righties, including a 37.3% hard-hit rate and a 42.6% fly-ball rate.
Chapman's shown a nice stick this year with a .240 ISO, and, given Snell's struggles against righties, makes for a very strong third base option at a cheap salary.
