4 Under-the-Radar Daily Fantasy Baseball Plays for 7/18/17
Paul DeJong has shown plenty of pop at the major league level and continues to torment the Mets. Who else makes for a great sleeper play?

Paul DeJong, SS, St. Louis Cardinals

FanDuel Price: $2,600

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Facing Jesse Chavez, who's posted a 4.77 SIERA this season, Daniel Murphy is likely to be a popular choice at second base. He's posted a .588 slugging percentage this season, and has already racked up five hits and two jacks after the All-Star break.

St. Louis Cardinals rookie Paul DeJong, with only 144 plate appearances at the major league level under his belt, is not likely to get nearly as much attention.

Why You Should Use Him:

DeJong certainly enjoys seeing the New York Mets, as he's now 10-for-15 against them this year, and he ripped another homer last night.

DeJong has shown plenty of pop this season -- in Triple A, he posted a .571 slugging percentage, and has upped that to a .583 mark in the majors.

The Cardinals will face Rafael Montero, who's allowed a .359 wOBA and walked 12.3% of right-handed hitters.

DeJong should find his way on base tonight, so it might be a good idea to take advantage of his low price point.
