Why He Will Go Overlooked:
Two of the game's best first baseman -- Joey Votto and Paul Goldschmidt -- will take the field at Great American Ball Park Wednesday evening, and both should be highly owned. Goldschmidt, who has a far easier matchup with Tim Adleman, is likely to see higher ownership and could be the chalk at first base.
With only two hits in his last 20 at-bats, Hanley Ramirez will likely see some low ownership.
Why You Should Use Him:
Facing Aaron Sanchez, who was bombed in his return from the disabled list, Ramirez and company could be in line for some big numbers.
But as we saw from Hanley's late extra-inning missile last night, the dude can get points in a hurry, and Sanchez has been extremely accommodating to right-handed hitters. In 2017, he's allowed a 28.8% hard-hit rate and 38.4% fly-ball rate to righties.
Even though he's been struggling a bit lately, Hanley's strong matchup could lead to a big night at a pretty affordable price point.
