Daily Fantasy Baseball: Batted-Ball Positive Regression Candidates for Week 17
Carlos Gonzalez has been underwhelming all year, but recent batted-ball data says he may be about to turn around his season.

C.J. Cron, 1B, Los Angeles Angels

C.J. Cron isn't someone DFS players usually look to target because of his position and the fact that he plays on the Angels, but we may need to rethink that in the upcoming days.

Cron has a 98.4 MPH exit velocity against lefties in the last week. which is impressive considering this has come against Gio Gonzalez, Chris Sale, and David Price. In that time, Cron has only one home run despite four different hits that have gone for more than a 100 MPH exit velocity.

Cron will face two lefties (J.A. Happ and Francisco Liriano) in Toronto later in the week, both of whom are susceptible to right-handed power. If you need a punt with a lot of upside, Cron is your guy, and he should be less than $3,000 on FanDuel.
