Texas Rangers southpaw Cole Hamels owns an ugly 5.16 SIERA through 10 games, and he has been crushed to the tune of a 40.3% hard-hit rate and 13.2% soft-hit rate by right-handed hitters.

That makes this a great spot for Stanton, who has done his best work against lefties this year. He's posted a .416 wOBA and .400 ISO against southpaws so far despite only having a .226 BABIP (compared to a .314 career average).
