Giancarlo Stanton is coming off a huge night, having blasted a pair of home runs. That didn't come as much of a surprise considering the excellent numbers he has put up this season, which includes a .393 wOBA and .321 ISO through 411 plate appearances.

Texas Rangers southpaw Cole Hamels owns an ugly 5.16 SIERA through 10 games, and he has been crushed to the tune of a 40.3% hard-hit rate and 13.2% soft-hit rate by right-handed hitters.

That makes this a great spot for Stanton, who has done his best work against lefties this year. He's posted a .416 wOBA and .400 ISO against southpaws so far despite only having a .226 BABIP (compared to a .314 career average).
