Jhoulys Chacin is pretty much the mascot of this column--at least when he's pitching at home.
A minor back impingement threw a wrench in his two-start slate last week, but the injury detour didn't stop the San Diego Padres' righty from doing what he does best: posting respectable starts at Petco Park. In fact, Chacin's five-plus innings of two-earned-run ball against the visiting Mets was only the second time in his past ten turns, home or away, that Chacin has failed to post a quality start.
Look for the unassuming Padre to get back in the QS column this week as San Diego plays host to a Twins squad that has been in a quite a power swoon of late.
