Fantasy Baseball: 5 Pitchers to Stream for Week 18
A two-start week against the dregs of the NL East should make Braves righty Mike Foltynewicz a prime streaming target for Week 18.

Mike Foltynewicz, Atlanta Braves

Starts: July 31st at Philadelphia Phillies, August 5th vs. Miami Marlins
ESPN ownership: 38 percent

Since an eight-run beating at the Nationals on June 12th, Atlanta Braves up-and-comer Mike Foltynewicz has been on a roll, posting a 2.95 ERA and 25% strikeout rate across 42-plus innings, a rare bright spot for an Atlanta Braves staff that sits in the bottom three of pitcher wins above replacement (WAR) over the last month.

Granted, Folty's underlying stats appear to indicate that some regression is looming (he has a less-than-ideal 10% walk rate and 3.99 FIP over that span), but it'd be a minor shock to see the hard-throwing righty fold up against such paltry competition this week. Indeed, the Phillies and Marlins are both bottom-half contributors in team-wide isolated slugging against righties on the season, and both struggle mightily to produce off the fastball.

Poised to bring the high-90s heat and continue his recent stretch of dominance, Foltynewicz should be one of the premier targets for standard-league streamers this week.
