FanDuel Price: $3,400
Why He Will Go Overlooked:
With a game in Coors Field, Colorado Rockies players are always popular, and tonight should be no exception. Charlie Blackmon, who is sporting a 1.284 OPS at home versus right-handed pitching, could be chalky, and Gerardo Parra, who is only $3,500, is also likely to get heavy run.
With only two hits in his last 14 at-bats, along with facing New York Yankees ground-ball machine Sonny Gray, Adam Jones could get ignored.
Why You Should Use Him:
Gray has struggled a bit over his last four starts, allowing five homers, and it's right-handed hitters that have given him particular trouble. He's faced 52 hitters in this situation during this period of time, and New York's trade-deadline acquisition has allowed a 27.0% hard-hit rate to with a 45.9% fly-ball rate (along with three homers).
Jones, meanwhile, continues to prefer right-handed pitching. This season, he's posted a respectable 96 wRC+ against southpaws, but has turned it up a notch against righties with a 108 wRC+, 31.0% hard-hit rate and 36.5% fly-ball rate.
He also loves to hit at home against those righties -- in 2017 at Camden Yards, he's recorded a .230 ISO with a 30.7% hard-hit rate and 39.1% fly-ball rate.
