3 Under-the-Radar Daily Fantasy Baseball Plays for 9/11/17
Taking aim at lefty Cole Hamels, Danny Valencia could quietly be in line for a big night. Who else makes for a solid sleeper play on Monday's MLB DFS slate?

Joe Panik, 2B, San Francisco Giants

FanDuel Price: $3,100

Why He Will Go Overlooked:

Facing Jason Hammel in Kansas City, Yolmer Sanchez should be a popular play tonight. In his last five contests, the Chicago White Sox middle infielder has racked up double-digit FanDuel points four different times.

Part of the worst offense in major league baseball (.295 team wOBA), Joe Panik shouldn't be getting a whole bunch of attention.

Why You Should Use Him:

It's been a rocky road this year for the San Francisco Giants, but one hitter that's picked up the pace recently is their second baseman. Panik has collected 108 plate appearances since August 1st and has turned that into a 32.2% hard-hit rate, 33.7% fly-ball, and more importantly, a .407 wOBA.

And if there's one area where Los Angeles Dodgers starter Kenta Maeda struggles, it's with left-handed bats -- he's allowed a 27.9% hard-hit rate and a 41.1% fly-ball rate against them this year, which has led to 1.32 homers allowed per nine innings.
