FanDuel Price: $3,000
Why He Will Go Overlooked:
The Cleveland Indians are a machine, and that certainly makes them an attractive play for DFS players -- Jay Bruce has been a big part of this recent stretch of success, and he has recorded 9.0-plus FanDuel points in five of his last eight games.
Struggling in the second half with only a .227 batting average, Ben Gamel could see low ownership, especially with a full slate's worth of options.
Why You Should Use Him:
Gamel's opponent, Trevor Bauer, has been brilliant in the second half -- over 70 2/3 innings pitched, he's recorded a 3.31 ERA and a 26.6% strikeout rate.
Bauer's main issue this season, however, has been the long ball against left-handed batters. He's surrendered 1.74 home runs per nine innings pitched in this situation, bolstered by a 33.6% hard-hit rate and 34.2% fly-ball rate.
Gamel, meanwhile, has hit righties well, recording a 28.5% hard-hit rate and 33.2% fly-ball rate. He has been particularly strong in September, too, with a .223 ISO against all arms.
