We all know how good Mike Trout is, and he is one of the last players to put up a 30-homer, 30-steal season, something he and Ryan Braun did back in 2012. But after stealing 49 bases in that 30-30 season and following it up with 33 swipes in 2013, Trout stopped running for a couple years, putting up just 16 and 11 steals the following two seasons.
But in 2016, Trout finished one homer short of the 30-30 club (29 dingers, 30 steals), and he probably would have made the club last year if it wasn't for injuries (he played in 114 games). However, he still managed to blast 33 bombs and swipe 22 bags in that injury-shortened campaign.
This year, if he can stay healthy, Trout could go deep 40 times and steal 30 bags, and a 50-30 season isn't out of the realm of possibility, either.
