The Los Angeles Angels' 4.71 implied total is the second-highest for a non-Coors team tonight.
They're also in a hitter-friendly park on the road against the Texas Rangers, and they get a great fantasy matchup against righty Doug Fister. Fister has posted a SIERA of 4.44 or worse in each of his last there seasons, and he has set a new career-worst in hard-hit rate in each of the last two seasons, with a 31.5% in 2016 and 32.5% in 2017. It's a small sample, but he has opened 2018 allowing an even higher 40.7%.
Mike Trout is off to a slow start to the year by his lofty standards, but he hasn't finished with a wOBA worse than .400 since 2011, and with a hard-hit rate north of 50% to open the season, there's no need to be worried abotu his production.
Last season, he tagged righties for a .450 wOBA and .359 ISO on a 39.8% hard-hit rate, and he should have little trouble taking advantage of this matchup against Fister.
