5 Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for 4/19/18
Jesus Aguilar stands out in a Brewers offense that offers a ton of value tonight. Which other budget-friendly bats should you target on Thursday?

Domingo Santana, OF, Milwaukee Brewers

Price: $2,700

A Brewer who hasn't managed to get things going to start the season, Domingo Santana's early struggles aren't enough that they should sour you on him quite yet.

He's limiting his soft contact as well as ever, with a 12.8% soft-hit rate, and while his 31.9% hard-hit rate is down from his 37.7% career-average, it's still far from a terrible mark. He has also made only 20 plate appearances this season against southpaws, who he has a history of producing exceptionally well against. In 2017, he turned a 43.6% hard-hit rate into a .377 wOBA and .218 ISO against lefties.

Santana has gone three straight games without scoring a fantasy point, but acknowledging the limitations that a small sample-size puts on early-season numbers is key to finding top-end value in April. Getting Santana for cheap against a southpaw is a great way to take advantage of that.
