Price: $2,200
Back to Milwaukee -- Hernan Perez is priced way down, only $200 above the minimum.
On the surface, Perez looks like the kind of weak hitter you generally want to avoid in fantasy. His .312 wOBA in 2016 and .298 mark in 2017 don't inspire any confidence.
He has fairly pronounced platoon splits, though, and while his numbers against southpaws are still just passable, that's all you need at this price-point in a matchup as juicy as tonight's against Dillon Peters. Perez finished 2016 with a .329 wOBA versus lefties, and he had a .334 wOBA in the split in 2017, while his career 35.9% hard-hit and 40.1% fly-ball rates versus southpaws are decent marks.
