5 Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for 4/19/18
Jesus Aguilar stands out in a Brewers offense that offers a ton of value tonight. Which other budget-friendly bats should you target on Thursday?

Jay Bruce, OF, New York Mets

Price: $2,800

Our models project Jay Bruce as the fourth-best point-per-dollar value on Thursday's main slate.

Bruce has managed only a .280 wOBA and .145 ISO to open the season, but with marks of at least a .340 wOBA and .250 ISO in each of his last two years, what he's done over 63 plate appearances doesn't mean too much.

The Atlanta Braves look like they will be starting one of Lucas Sims or Matt Wisler, and either would make for an excellent fantasy matchup as both are sporting career SIERAs over 4.85.

They are also both right-handers, giving Bruce's value a bump. He was great against right-handed pitching in 2017, turning a 42.9% hard-hit rate, 10.1% soft-hit rate and 45.6% fly-ball rate into a .369 wOBA and .273 ISO.
