Jesse Winker draws an admittedly rough pitching matchup tonight against Los Angeles Dodgers righty Walker Buehler, who is off to a great start to the year. The way Winker hits right-handed pitching, though, even a tough matchup shouldn't leave him priced this low.

Over his first two Major League seasons, Winker is up to 210 plate appearances against right-handers. In that sample, he has turned a 36.8% hard-hit rate and 11.1% soft-hit rate into an excellent .390 wOBA and .180 isolated slugging (ISO). That wOBA is something you expect out of guys priced $1,000 more than Winker is today, and it makes up for the tough matchup.

Winker will likely batting leadoff in this one, meaning that even if the Cincinnati offense stalls against Buehler, he should see his fair share of plate appearances.
