FanDuel Price: $7,800
In an effort to fill out the back end of the Chicago Cubs' rotation, Tyler Chatwood became one of the under-the-radar signings of this past offseason. And while the results have been strong for Chatwood so far, with a 3.35 ERA, his 19.3% walk rate is just too high to sustain an ERA so low. And his 5.64 SIERA confirms this theory.
But on Wednesday, Chatwood has to deal with one of the hottest lineups in baseball, the Atlanta Braves. Led by young phenoms like Ozzie Albies and Ronald Acuna, in addition to veteran mainstays like Freddie Freeman and Nick Markakis, the Braves have one of the best offenses against right-handed pitching. They rank top-five in wRC+ and wOBA against right-handers, as they strike out at just a 20.5% clip against them.
Coupled with this start coming on the road, Chatwood is not worth rostering in MLB DFS.
