Shin-Soo Choo has certainly seen his production fall off in the latter part of his career, but he's still more than capable of producing good numbers against right-handed pitching.

He has opened the season with a .348 wOBA on a 45.7% hard-hit rate against righties, which follows up a 2017 season that saw him post a .338 wOBA in the split on a 40.4% hard-hit rate.

Chicago White Sox's righty James Shields makes for a particularly good matchup, with his 5.60 SIERA in 2018 putting him on pace to finish with a SIERA worse than 4.90 for the third straight season. He has struggled to an especially heinous 5.77 xFIP against left-handed sticks this year.
