Fantasy Baseball: 5 Pitchers to Stream in Week 8
Rockies starter Kyle Freeland looks to add to the Dodgers' woes against lefties. Which other widely available arms can fantasy owners lean on in Week 8?

Trevor Cahill, Oakland Athletics

Starts: May 22nd vs. Seattle Mariners, May 27th vs. Arizona Diamondbacks
ESPN percentage owned: 14.4%

Trevor Cahill pulled a tough assignment upon returning from a minimum stint on the disabled list last week, posting one lone strikeout in five laborious innings against the fearsome Boston Red Sox's lineup. That start pulled Cahill's season-long strikeout percentage down from eye-popping to merely impressive, with the Oakland Athletics' righty posting a 28.6% strikeout rate over an admittedly slim 29-inning sample.

Regression caveats abound, of course, though a tight 6.7% walk rate and excellent 3.01 FIP have Cahill's 2.79 ERA looking fairly legit. Whatever the case, Cahill is one of very few widely available two-start hurlers worth a look in Week 8, especially with both starts falling in the pitcher-friendly Oakland Alameda Coliseum. Of particular note is a late-week turn against a Diamondbacks team that has been quite weak against righties, posting a .139 group isolated slugging and outsized 26.8% strikeout rate.
