5 Daily Fantasy Baseball Value Plays for 5/18/18
On pace for a career-year, Kevin Pillar is way too cheap for a plus matchup against Brett Anderson. What other cost-effective bats should you target on Friday night?

Kevin Pillar, OF, Toronto Blue Jays

Price: $3,000

The 9.5 over/under in today's matchup between the Jays and Athletics is tied for the day's highest, and so here we go back to Toronto and their strong 4.88 implied total.

Anderson's struggles in recent seasons have come with some particularly awful numbers against right-handed hitters. He has allowed a .391 wOBA on a 35.8% hard-hit rate against righties since 2016.

Kevin Pillar is having the most productive season of his career in 2018. Over 183 plate appearances, he has notched a .362 wOBA and .201 ISO, and a matchup with Anderson isn't a big threat to slow that hot start.
