In case you've never been introduced, here is Toronto Blue Jays slugger Teoscar Hernandez.

Hernandez has been a pleasant surprise for Toronto this season, batting .256/.310/.526 in 32 games (145 plate appearances), with 7 dingers, 18 RBIs and 21 runs. He's got a .353 wOBA on the season and is striking out in just 23.4% of plate appearances -- a much better mark than the 37.9% he put up last year in 27 games with the Astros and Jays.
He's always had decent power, but a high strikeout rate in the minors has traditionally slowed down the 25-year-old. But Hernandez will take the occasional walk, (6.9% walk rate this year), and he hits the ball hard consistently. Among players with at least 140 plate appearances, his 44.0% hard-hit rate is tied with Joey Gallo for 25th in all of baseball.
Now is a good time to snag the up-and-coming player from an owner who may not know what they have on their hands.
