It's been a struggle for Chicago Cubs starter Yu Darvish since he signed as a free agent this off-season. He's landed on the 10-day disabled list with right triceps tendinitis, his second DL stint so far this season. In fact, Darvish has more DL stints this year than he does wins (one).
The Cubs placed right-handed pitcher Yu Darvish on the 10-day disabled list (retroactive to May 23) with right triceps tendonitis.

Darvish has seen his walk rate skyrocket in eight starts this season at a career-high 11.7%, way up from 7.6% last season. His 4.95 ERA is also the worst of his career, as is his FIP of 4.81 and his WHIP of 1.43. The one encouraging statistic is that his strikeout rate remains high (27.2%), essentially the same as last year (27.3%), but that's not enough.
It's possible Darvish fixes whatever is ailing him, but if you can find someone willing to take him on, unload him onto someone else.
